Our day bag is our medium sized tote bag in this style. Perfect for everyday use, it is trimmed in a gorgeous, black leather, has an adjustable shoulder strap, handles, an outside zippered pocket as well as an inside pocket, 2 magnetic side pockets (perfect for bottles  or cell phones) and metal feet to protect the bottom. 


About our bags.
All our bags are made from Mayan huipils. These huipils (or blouses as we call them) are intricately detailed, take up to 5 months to weave, are all one of a kind, and often tell a story about the weaver and where she is from. Often, weaving is the only skill these women posses as they don't know how to read or write and make very little money to support their families. We purchase these huipils directly from the weavers and then turn them into bags giving them a sustainable income. All bags are lined and this style has an inside pocket as well as a zipper closure.
